Easy to use Instructions
![]() | | NB: IT IS IMPORTANT TO CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE INSIDE THE SAFE T SLEEP PRODUCT PACKAGING. 1. Wrap the Safe T Sleep® Sleepwrap® tightly around a good quality mattress of at least 25cm deep. The tighter that the main wrap is around the mattress, the more flexibility there will be for baby in the 'baby wrap' part and the better the Sleepwrap will work. It is helpful to tighten this main mattress wrap part before each sleep. NB: TIGHT AROUND THE MATTRESS BUT NEVER TIGHT AROUND BABY, JUST 'SNUG' AROUND BABY. ALLOW A FLAT HAND TO BE PLACED BETWEEN THE BABY'S TUMMY AND THE 'BABY WRAP' PART. |

3. Make sure that the 'baby wrap' part of the Sleepwrap it is just snug NOT tight so that your flat hand fits between baby's chest and the closed Sleepwrap. This will ensure that baby is comfortable.
![]() | 4. When swaddling tuck the leg piece away underneath the main mattress wrap part. When baby is back sleeping some parents choose to swaddle arms down as the picture shows
![]() | 5. To help ensure a side-sleeping position, simply place baby's underarm and shoulder forward and follow the simple product instructions enclosed with the actual product. If using a swaddling product when side sleeping ensure that baby's arms are gently wrapped up high across the chest. This helps prevent baby turning face down. Then place 'baby wrap' part of the Sleepwrap over as in the picture. A rolled up towel or nappy may be placed behind baby's back and/or tummy away from hands and face. Alternate baby's sleep position at each sleep to help ensure a nice head shape.
| 6. Remember to turn your baby's head to alternate sides at each sleep, if your baby is back-sleeping. The Safe T Sleep HEADwedge helps to stabilise the head position.
