Can you sleep a baby on their tummy in the Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap?

We can give 'objective' advice only and share with you what we know from our and other parent’s experiences and subsequent feedback.

Since its introduction to the market in 1992 we have heard from several mothers who have told us that tummy sleeping their baby in the Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap has worked well for them and that their babies will not settle any other way. They were aware of the back sleeping recommendation when we advised them of this but it seems several Paediatricians also sometimes recommend this.

Since 1992 the majority of parents that we have received feedback from have a back sleeping baby, or a semi-side sleeping baby or side sleeping baby, often the baby starts on their back but then naturally rolls to their side, where, without a Sleepwrap they are highly likely able to go face down.

The parents of a side sleeping baby often choose to make them safer by using a Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap baby wrap. It seems many parents like to keep baby on the back for up to 9-12months old.

Since its conception in 1976 and delivery onto the world market in 1992 hundreds of thousands of babies worldwide have slept safely in the original, clinically proven Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap and little HEADwedge without a single reported death or injury amongst users!
