How and why should I introduce the Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap to an older baby?

Gently and using education through play. See FAQ#7 and #12.

For babies who are out of the high Cot Death/SIDS/SUDI risk period, who are able to turn from back to tummy and back again, simply loosen the Sleepwrap a ‘little’ more and when parent and baby are both relaxed, in a fun, gentle way teach baby how to turn within the Sleepwrap.

Parents are often concerned with babies able to climb and fall from a cot/crib for approx. 8-9months and when parents are boating/travelling/camping or visiting with baby, a Sleepwrap baby wrap is very practical and convenient…a bed in a bag!

To introduce a Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap baby wrap to a child older than approximately 12-18months, simply use education through play, by using a favourite toy or teddy and explain how the Sleepwrap product will keep them safe and warm, showing how teddy loves the Sleepwrap etc. An older child may have control over its use and may be taught to turn within the wrap.

Remember to carefully read the very easy and simple product instructions. See FAQ#16.
